Hi, I’m Ashantia, founder and candle maker at Lavender in Luxe.
I was born and raised in Ithaca, and it means so much to bring this dream to life right here at home.
I started making candles in 2020 as a way to create peace and balance in my own life. What began as a personal ritual grew into a brand that now reaches far beyond my kitchen table. My candles can be found in a few local stores and are often chosen as client gifts for small businesses that value thoughtful, handcrafted quality.
Lavender in Luxe has always been about more than candles. It is about slowing down, creating calm, and finding beauty in the details of everyday life. Opening this space is the next chapter, a place where scent, creativity, and intention come together to remind us that peace belongs to all of us.
