ELIGIBLE ITEMS FOR RETURN OR EXCHANGE
Lavender in Luxe accepts returns or exchanges on any eligible item within 14 days of purchase or delivery.
Eligible items include:
- Candles
- Fragrance products
- Bath & body products
- Items that arrived cracked or broken during shipping
Conditions for Return
- Items must be unused, unburned, and in original condition.
- Candles may be exchanged based on disliking the scent, even if the candle was purchased in-store without smelling it first.
- All undamaged items must be unburned to qualify.
Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items
The following cannot be returned or refunded:
- Workshops (all workshop bookings are final)
- Gift cards
- Sale items
- Custom candles
- If a client is unhappy with a custom-blended scent created by our team, please reach out for additional options (adjustments, remake options, or store credit depending on the situation).
- Any items made during a workshop
- Candle bouquets
- Wax melts
- Final sale products marked as such
IN-STORE RETURNS
We do accept approved returns in store during business hours.
Store Hours for Returns
12 PM – 5 PM
PICKUP POLICY
Pickup is available during regular store hours (12–5).
If these hours do not work for you, please reach out so we may assist with:
- Scheduling a different pickup time
- Local delivery (when available)
LOCAL DELIVERY POLICY
Delivery is available for specialty gift orders such as wax bouquets.
- Delivery is available within 15 miles of the shop (330 West State St., Suite A).
- If you are outside this radius, please contact us to discuss further options.
Lavender in Luxe – Workshop Policies
1. General Workshop Policies (Public Workshops)
1.1Attendance & Minimum Enrollment
Lavender in Luxe is committed to holding workshops even with low enrollment to build consistency and community.
Workshops will proceed as scheduled unless extreme circumstances arise.
1.2 Refunds
Workshop purchases are non-refundable.
1.3 Credits
If you cannot attend:
- You may transfer your seat to another person OR
- You may receive in-store credit equal to your workshop fee
(Credit must be used within 6 months.)
1.4 Cancellations by Lavender in Luxe
If a workshop is canceled due to:
- Weather
- Power outage
- Emergency event
- Instructor illness
You may:
- Reschedule into another workshop of your choice AND
- Receive an additional complimentary workshop as our apology for the inconvenience.
1.5 Late Arrivals
Workshops begin promptly.
Participants arriving more than 15 minutes late may miss key instructions; staff will accommodate as best as possible, but the participant accepts the risk of a limited experience.
1.6 Age Requirements
- Standard workshops are for ages 16+ unless otherwise stated.
1.7 Safety
Participants must follow all safety instructions including:
- Proper handling of hot wax
- Fragrance safety
- Using equipment properly
- Wearing provided aprons
Lavender in Luxe is not responsible for injuries due to failure to follow instructions.
2. Private Workshop / Party Policies
For customers hosting their own event (bridal shower, birthday, corporate event, etc.)
2.1 Booking Requirements
- Private parties require a non-refundable deposit (you choose the amount: $50? 25%?).
- Full payment must be completed 7 days before the event.
2.2 Minimum / Maximum Guests
Choose your preferred structure:
- Minimum of X guests required OR
- Minimum dollar amount required
(I can help you determine which is more profitable.)
2.3 Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- If a guest cancels, no refunds are issued.
- The host may reschedule the entire event once with 7 days’ notice.
- Weather or emergency closures by Lavender in Luxe follow the same rules as public workshops:
✔ free rescheduling plus an additional workshop credit.
2.4 Outside Food & Beverage
Specify your rules:
- Allowed?
- No alcohol?
- Alcohol permitted for private events only?
- Must sign liability waiver?

2.5 Arrival & Setup
- Hosts may arrive up to 15–20 minutes early to set up.
- Events must end on time, as staff need to clean and prepare for the next event.
2.6 Damages
Hosts are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests to equipment, tools, or store property.
⭐ D. Additional Policies to Consider for Workshops
These are optional but highly recommended:
1. Liability Waiver
Protects you if someone burns themselves, spills wax, or damages clothing.
2. Photography Release
Let customers know if you take photos for social media.
3. Custom Candle Fragrance Policy
Prevent scent overload or unsafe mixing.
Example: customers may blend up to 2 oils unless approved by instructor.
4. Behavior Expectations
Helps with parties where alcohol is present (if allowed).
5. Late Pickup of Custom Candles
For workshops requiring cooling time:
- Candles must be picked up within X days
- Unclaimed items may be discarded
WORKSHOPS
We are not conducting offsite workshops at this time.
Workshop booking policies:
- All workshop bookings are non-refundable.
- Items made during workshops are final sale.
- Gifts received during workshops are non-returnable.
DAMAGED ITEMS
If your item arrived damaged:
- Notify us within 48 hours of receiving your package.
- Photos are required for assessment.
You may receive:
- Replacement (if available)
- Exchange
- Store credit
